Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing bookings, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the reservation process.
- Process resort reservations efficiently and accurately
- Provide up-to-date information on hotel facilities, special offers, and promotions
- Handle room inquiries, confirmations, and cancellations promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details
- Assist with yield management to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and history
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist with overflow calls when needed
- Stay informed about local attractions and amenities in Ras Al-Khaimah to provide tailored recommendations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or reservations, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in reservation management systems
- Passion for sales and promotion with a customer-focused mindset
- Proactive, “can-do” attitude with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, mornings, and evenings
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of local attractions and amenities in Ras Al-Khaimah
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with hospitality industry trends and best practices
- Language skills ideally
