- Maintains complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental standards, policies and procedures.
- Processes all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations according to the standards.
- Observes proper telephone manners at all times.
- Maintains complete, accurate and timely information which are essential to the reservation.
- Handle guest queries, requests and complaints related to reservations in a polite and efficient manner.
- Sells the best-rated room to meet the guest’s needs and maximize the room revenue.
- Suggest alternative date for requests on overbooked situation.
- Explains effectively the hotel’s policies such as: check-in and check-out time, guarantee, no-shows and cancellations for the guest to understand.
- Set up proper billing accounts according to the policy.
- Liaise with the Sales Department regarding booking of group rooms, banquet or conventions and long-term apartment tenants.
