Job Description


As the Reservations Supervisor at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the reservations team to deliver seamless, efficient, and guest-focused booking services. You will ensure that every reservation reflects the brand’s luxury standards, while maximizing revenue opportunities through effective inventory management and upselling strategies. Your leadership will play a vital role in shaping the guest journey from the first point of contact to their arrival at the hotel.

  • Supervise the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Handle guest reservations with accuracy, professionalism, and a strong focus on service excellence.
  • Monitor room availability, rates, and booking trends to support revenue optimization.
  • Train, coach, and motivate the reservations team to uphold Fairmont’s service standards.
  • Assist in implementing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all guest inquiries and requests are handled promptly and courteously.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management to align on business goals.
  • Prepare reports and performance metrics related to reservations, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a reservations role within a luxury hotel environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
