Position Summary:
The Reservations Agent is responsible for processing and managing hotel reservations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and revenue guidelines. The role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and professional handling of all booking inquiries while coordinating with relevant departments to support operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle phone and email reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes
- Manage room inventory, including availability and rates
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and requests
- Process cancellations and modifications to existing reservations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in hotel reservations or customer service
- Knowledge of hotel operations and room types
- Certification in hospitality or customer service
Requirements :
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (IDS and rate tiger)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
