The Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests enjoy a safe, clean, and pleasant recreational experience. This role involves assisting guests, monitoring recreational areas, maintaining equipment, and supporting activities and events in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests courteously and assist them with recreational facilities and activities
  • Monitor swimming pools, gyms, kids’ play areas, or recreation zones to ensure safety and proper usage
  • Set up, maintain, and clean recreational equipment and facilities
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Assist in organizing and conducting recreational programs and activities
  • Provide towels, equipment, and general guest support as required
  • Report accidents, hazards, or maintenance issues immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all recreation areas
  • Coordinate with lifeguards, fitness trainers, or activity coordinators
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or recreation is an advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards
  • Team player with a positive and friendly attitude

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

  • First Aid & CPR
  • Lifeguard certification (if pool-related role)

Work Environment

  • Indoor and outdoor recreational areas
  • Shift-based work including weekends and holidays
