Position Overview
The Veterinary Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between clients, doctors, and veterinary assistants. This role requires excellent customer service skills, empathy, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Be attentive and responsive to client and pet needs
- Work compassionately with clients in different emotional states
- Handle distressed or frustrated clients patiently
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Check clients in and monitor the flow from arrival to discharge
- Follow up with clients as needed
- Manage record requests between veterinary hospitals and specialty practices
- Fill prescriptions and assist with patient discharge
- Educate clients on basic pet care and clinic procedures
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the clinic (reception, lobby, exam rooms, kitchen, kennels, etc.)
- Process payment transactions
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Relay information between clients, doctors, and management
- Use computer systems (Windows OS, word processing, email, internet search, and practice management software)

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Arabic: Native (mother tongue)
- English: Excellent spoken and written skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic (preferred but not mandatory)
