woo-hoo! Children’s Museum is seeking a friendly and dynamic Receptionist to be the welcoming face at our recreation centre. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Greet and assist visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanuor, ensuring a positive first impression of the museum.
- Information Provider: Provide accurate information about exhibits, programs, and events, both in person and over the phone.
- Administrative Support: Manage the reception area, including answering phones, and handling inquiries efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to support museum events and activities, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Facility Management: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and public spaces.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages is a strong asset.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong commitment to providing excellent service to children and families.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office equipment and software; experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
