Position: Salon Receptionist

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Clients: Welcome clients as they enter the salon, offering a warm, friendly greeting.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Handle phone calls and online booking systems, ensuring appointments are scheduled efficiently.
  • Managing Customer Flow: Ensure clients are seated, attend to any needs, and maintain a smooth flow of service.
  • Checking Clients In and Out: Process client payments, manage billing, and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Providing Information: Inform clients about salon services, pricing, and product offerings.
  • Maintaining Salon Appearance: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Answering Inquiries: Address client inquiries, whether over the phone, online, or in-person.
  • Administering Sales: Promote and sell salon products and services to clients.
  • Handling Client Concerns: Assist with any client complaints or issues, escalating them to the manager when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage appointments, and handle

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the beauty or salon industry.
  • Knowledge of basic skincare and haircare services.
