Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for EPC and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a solid understanding of materials, equipment, and services used in engineering and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase order preparation, and delivery follow-up.
- Identify reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors aligned with project needs and company standards.
- Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, price comparisons, and supplier databases.
- Coordinate closely with the Engineering, Projects, and Accounts Departments for timely material delivery.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project deadlines.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and performance reviews.
- Stay updated with market trends, material availability, and cost fluctuations in the EPC and Oil & Gas sectors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering (Mechanical / Civil preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing for EPC or Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement software and MS Office.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
