About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle — from sourcing materials and suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery to support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, and agreements in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with the engineering and site teams to understand material and equipment requirements.
- Monitor material delivery schedules to ensure timely project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company procurement procedures.
- Handle urgent site procurement requirements efficiently.
- Support cost control by comparing prices, specifications, and delivery terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good knowledge of local UAE suppliers, materials, and market pricing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
