Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials, supplies, and services
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, or shortages
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase documentation, and supplier databases
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery
- Track inventory levels and support inventory planning to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations
