Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Procurement Officer will manage purchasing activities, establish purchase orders, lead contract negotiations, and oversee procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an up-to-date database of all suppliers, including pricing and availability.
- Track market price fluctuations to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure fast and efficient procurement while balancing cost and quality.
- Maintain workshop inventory to prevent shortages and optimise stock levels.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for optimal pricing and service.
- Analyse purchasing trends to improve procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and execute fast purchasing actions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management tools.
