Procurement Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate will optimize procurement processes, control costs, and ensure timely supply of goods/services to support our trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings.
  • Manage end-to-end purchase order processes, from requisition to delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement cost control measures.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and resolve supply issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
  • Experience in sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, SAP) and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in trading or supply chain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
