Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Prepare and issue LPOs and Purchase Orders
  • Maintain procurement logs and tracking sheets
  • Source, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers for materials, finishes, FF&E, joinery, and site requirements
  • Manage suppliers from quotation stage until delivery completion
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with project and site teams
  • Track material lead times and prevent project delays
  • Prepare procurement reports and status updates
  • Conduct price comparisons and supplier negotiations
  • Implement cost reduction strategies without affecting quality
  • Avoid duplicate or unauthorized purchases

Accounts & Cost Control

  • Record and track project expenses and supplier costs
  • Process invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents
  • Verify invoices against LPOs, delivery notes, BOQs, and approved quantities
  • Assist in project budget control and cost monitoring
  • Maintain organized financial and procurement documentation
  • Monitor supplier payment schedules (advance, progress, final)
  • Support internal financial reporting and expense tracking

Technical Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials and finishes
  • Ability to read BOQs, drawings, and material specifications
  • Knowledge of joinery, gypsum works, glass, flooring, ceilings, lighting, and FF&E
  • Ability to verify quantities and specifications before issuing LPOs
  • Ability to cross-check invoices against actual scope and site requirements
  • Understanding of material lead times and technical dependencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 2–5 years UAE experience in procurement/accounts within a fit-out or construction company (mandatory)
  • Experience handling LPOs, procurement logs, and invoice verification
  • Strong Excel skills (comparisons, trackers, cost sheets)
  • Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, etc.) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT documentation
