Order Taker – In Room Dinning
An In-Room Dining Order Taker is responsible for efficiently taking guest orders for food and beverages, ensuring accurate and prompt service. Their role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the hotel’s commitment to service excellence and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
As an Order Taker in Room Dining, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service by efficiently taking and accurately recording guest food and beverage orders. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your duties include:
- Responding promptly, courteously, and efficiently to guest requests and inquiries
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of the menu, specials, and promotions to assist guests with their selections
- Accurately taking guest orders and entering them into the point-of-sale system
- Coordinating with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitoring guest satisfaction throughout the meal and addressing any concerns promptly
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with all applicable regulations and hotel standards
- Keeping the in-room dining station well-stocked and organized at all timesYour role is vital in ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service, contributing to their overall satisfaction and the hotel’s success.
