Job Summary:
Coordinate the efficient equipment utilization, transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and inventory accuracy. Manage operations and logistics, optimize supply chain processes, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet client’s operational goals. This role is crucial in maintaining the seamless flow of materials and products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Coordination:
Execute daily operations: Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team.
Assist Operations Supervisor in routing, monitoring telemetry & machine malfunctions.
Assist the customer satisfaction team whenever the support is required.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchase team to maintain adequate stock of products and spare parts.
Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct periodic audits.
Develop strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Coordinate the supply chain activities, including ordering, receiving, and distributing products and spare parts.
Work closely with purchase team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Address any supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans.
Warehouse Management:
Oversee the warehouse storage to ensure efficient use of space and easy access to products.
Implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards.
Transportation and Distribution:
Plan and coordinate the transportation and distribution of products to vending machine locations.
Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
Monitor transportation performance and address any issues that arise.
Coordination with Operations and Maintenance:
Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the availability of spare parts & tools for repairs.
Collaborate on identifying and resolving logistical challenges.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, deliveries, and transportation performance.
Submit regular reports to upper management on logistics performance, challenges, and achievements.
Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics team.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
