About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer‑focused Tourism & Cargo Operations Executive to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in travel bookings, tourism operations, and cargo/logistics coordination. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tourism & Booking Operations
- Handle flight, hotel, holiday packages, and tour reservations.
- Prepare travel itineraries, vouchers, and booking confirmations.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel partners.
- Manage customer inquiries, provide travel recommendations, and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer details.
Cargo & Logistics Operations
- Coordinate air/sea cargo shipments and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (AWB, B/L, invoices, packing lists).
- Track shipments and update clients on cargo status.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs and cargo handling regulations.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain organized documentation for both travel and cargo operations.
- Assist in preparing reports, invoices, and operational summaries.
- Support management with daily operational tasks and process improvements.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely issue resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Dubai in tourism, travel booking, or cargo/logistics.
- Strong knowledge of UAE travel market, airlines, and cargo procedures.
- Experience with reservation systems (GDS/Amadeus/Sabre) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cargo documentation and UAE customs processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
