Job Summary:
The Medical Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of medical insurance administration for a large number of employees, including additions, deletions, renewals, claims coordination, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in manual processing, especially in environments where automation is limited or still developing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of medical insurance for all employees across multiple entities and job categories
- Handle additions, deletions, and renewals of insurance policies in coordination with the insurance provider and HR
- Track insurance coverage and ensure timely renewals and updates
- Liaise with insurance brokers and providers to resolve employee issues, claim rejections, or approvals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance records both manually and digitally
- Support employees in understanding their medical coverage and assist with documentation for claims
- Ensure compliance with UAE health insurance laws and regulations
- Coordinate with HR and Payroll to reflect changes in benefits appropriately
- Review and verify monthly insurance invoices for accuracy before submitting for payment
- Provide reports on insurance coverage, costs, and trends as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical insurance coordination or HR operations, preferably in a high-volume organization
- Proven experience in manual processing of insurance-related tasks and document tracking
- Solid knowledge of UAE health insurance laws and regulatory requirements
- Strong coordination and vendor management skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Excellent communication skills .
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with HRMS systems is a bonus
