The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering effective and innovative media solutions to clients. This includes designing and executing tailored media campaigns, building strategic partnerships, and driving new business with top brands and ad agencies. Your role will focus on meeting sales goals, optimizing media strategies, and staying ahead of trends in the digital advertising space.
What You Will Be Working On:
You will work on driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and creating compelling media solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of media campaigns and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to expand Wego’s media offerings.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by developing, closing, and scaling a pipeline of advertiser accounts to meet sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, advertising agencies, vendors, and direct clients.
- Conduct sales meetings with clients and media agencies, providing commercial reports and evaluating revenue outcomes.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, case studies, and business contracts aligned with client needs.
- Identify tailored solutions for client marketing objectives and foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaign execution, creative approvals, and performance reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, best practices, and new opportunities in media solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in media technology, making recommendations to enhance Wego’s offerings.
- Report strategic insights and explore growth opportunities through retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in media sales with solid knowledge of the digital media landscape, preferably in GCC markets.
- Strong performance track record against sales targets.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience conducting market research.
- Deep knowledge of the digital advertising industry and a strong professional network of advertising professionals.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Good planning and organizational skills with a focus on timely project delivery.
