Logistics Officer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to manage and oversee the smooth movement of goods, materials, and equipment within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, efficient inventory management, and seamless coordination with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the import, export, and internal movement of goods and materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock and shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including invoices, delivery notes, and customs paperwork.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle discrepancies, damages, or delays and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support procurement and warehouse teams as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management (UAE experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with UAE import/export regulations and customs procedures.
  • Experience in fleet management or warehouse operations.
