Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee and control all lifting operations at our construction sites. The candidate must ensure lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved lifting plans, company procedures, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
• Prepare, review, and implement lifting plans and risk assessments
• Ensure cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are certified and fit for use
• Verify that lifting operations comply with APLO, LEEA, and safety standards
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site management
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting activities
• Monitor weather and site conditions affecting lifting operations
• Stop lifting activities if unsafe conditions are identified
• Maintain lifting records, permits, and inspection documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in a contracting company
• Valid APLO certification
• LEEA certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of cranes, lifting gear, and safe lifting practices
• Ability to read and understand lifting plans and load charts
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Physically fit and safety-oriented mindset
• Immediate availability preferred
