Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Surveys:
- Measure land areas using advanced equipment like GPS systems, total stations, and lasers.
- Determine land boundaries for legal, construction, and real estate purposes.
- Conduct topographic, construction, and boundary surveys to create accurate maps.
2. Collect Data:
- Gather data regarding elevations, distances, angles, and physical features of land.
- Document findings accurately and ensure proper record-keeping of survey results.
3. Prepare Reports:
- Analyze survey data to prepare maps, reports, and legal descriptions of land features.
- Prepare and interpret land titles, deed descriptions, and legal documents related to property boundaries.
4. Operate Surveying Equipment:
- Use traditional tools (e.g., compasses, theodolites) and modern equipment like GPS, drones, and laser scanners.
- Ensure equipment calibration and proper maintenance.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Typically a bachelor’s degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Must at least have 4 years work experience in land surveying or related field and knowledge on Roadworks and Earthworks
