Kitchen Receiver

As a Kitchen Receiver, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Receives, inspects, and records all food and non-food deliveries, ensuring compliance with hotel standards, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Properly labels, dates, and stores goods under correct temperature conditions while maintaining cleanliness and order in receiving and storage areas.
  • Ensures hygiene and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with food safety and UAE Municipality regulations.
  • Supports kitchen and stewarding teams in maintaining cleanliness, stock organization, and daily operational checks.
  • Participates in meetings and training sessions, assisting other departments and performing duties as assigned by superiors.
  • Demonstrates strong operational focus, physical capability, teamwork, communication skills, and knowledge of stock control, equipment use, and food hygiene.

As a Kitchen Receiver, we expect from you:

  • High School qualification or equivalent.
  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary art is preferred.
  • Experience as a Kitchen Receiver in a high-volume restaurant or catering company with the highest levels of service preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years culinary experience working in a 5-star hotel or free-standing restaurant.
