Full job description

Food Preparation

  • Assist in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables and fruits).
  • Portion and pack food items as instructed by chefs.
  • Assist in preparing simple dishes under supervision.

Kitchen Support

  • Keep cooking stations stocked with necessary ingredients and utensils.
  • Assist chefs during busy service hours when needed.
  • Load and unload deliveries; store ingredients properly.

Cleaning & Hygiene

  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, and kitchen surfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices.

Equipment Handling

  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely (dishwasher, peelers, mixers, etc.).
  • Report any damaged tools or equipment to the supervisor.
