Job Summary:
The Kids Play Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children and families in the play area, which includes go-karting, bowling, arcade games, and trampoline zones. The attendant will monitor activities, enforce safety rules, assist guests, and provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Supervision
- Monitor children and guests at all attractions (go-kart track, bowling lanes, arcade, trampoline park).
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or misuse of equipment.
- Conduct pre-use safety checks on play equipment and rides.
- Respond quickly and calmly in case of accidents, injuries, or emergencies.
- Customer Service
- Greet and assist children, parents, and visitors in a friendly manner.
- Provide guidance on safe use of facilities and explain activity rules.
- Support parents in managing children during play if needed.
- Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure play zones are kept clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Report any damages, faults, or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Assist with daily opening/closing procedures, equipment checks, and cleaning schedules.
- Engagement & Entertainment
- Encourage children to participate in games and activities.
- Assist in organizing small group activities, birthday parties, or special events.
- Maintain a fun, welcoming, and energetic atmosphere.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service, childcare, or play area/entertainment operations preferred.
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
- Good communication skills (English required, additional languages a plus).
- Ability to stay alert and supervise multiple children/activities at once.
- Basic first aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
