Job Summary
The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing and controlling inventory to ensure smooth production and distribution operations. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, optimal stock levels, and minimizing wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers
- Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits
- Follow FIFO / FEFO practices for food products
- Identify and reduce inventory losses, damages, and wastage
- Ensure proper storage conditions and food safety compliance
- Prepare inventory reports for management review
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory management
- FMCG or food industry experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel
- Understanding of FMCG inventory and shelf-life control
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Working Conditions
- Factory / Warehouse environment
- Physical stock verification as required
