Position Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of insurance processing, including verification, authorization, and claims management, to ensure our clients receive the necessary services in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong background in insurance empanelment, lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Proven track record in generating leads for new insurance inquiries and converting them into active clients.
- Creative mindset with the ability to propose and execute client acquisition strategies to the management
- Collaborate with the marketing, client relations, and management teams to align insurance activities with business growth objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with insurance companies to negotiate and secure favorable terms and conditions
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for new and existing patients.
- Manage and coordinate all insurance-related activities, including direct billing contracts with insurance providers.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to acquire and renew policies for clients
- Obtain prior authorizations for services as required by insurance providers.
- Monitor policy changes and advise clients accordingly.
- Answer client questions and concerns about their policies.
- Manage and organize client data to ensure efficient policies
- Coordinate with the Clinical Director and Client Relations Manager to ensure services provided align with insurance coverage.
- Assist clients in filing insurance claims when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Must be up to date with DHA protocols
- Generate reports for management regarding policy metrics, renewals, and policy changes.
- Work together with the Finance department & other internal departments to ensure seamless insurance processes and to provide quality customer service
- Assist with the development and implementation of insurance strategies and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coordination, or a related field. Preferably in an Autism center or Rehabilitation center.
- Proven experience in the UAE insurance industry with a strong understanding of insurance processes, specifically experience with contracting under direct billing arrangements is mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, billing procedures, and medical terminology.
- Excellent negotiation skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, electronic medical records systems).
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
