Full job description

The HR Assistant supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and coordinating HR-related activities. The role ensures smooth communication and effective support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in posting job advertisements and screening resumes.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding processes, including document collection and induction arrangements.

2. Employee Records & Documentation

  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
  • Ensure all HR documents, such as contracts, evaluations, and leave records, are properly filed and up to date.

3. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Track attendance and leave records.
  • Assist in preparing monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.

4. HR Operations Support

  • Assist in preparing HR letters, memos, and internal communications.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives (e.g., performance appraisals, training sessions).
  • Handle general HR-related queries from employees courteously and promptly.

5. Coordination with Other Departments

  • Work closely with Accounts, Operations, and Admin teams for HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate with PRO/visa department for documentation and employee onboarding/offboarding procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support (freshers may also be considered).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
