HR Assistant

Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day HR operations and administrative duties.
  • Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR databases.
  • Prepare employment letters, memos, and HR correspondence.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, shortlisting, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees (joining formalities, documentation, orientation).
  • Coordinate with PRO/HR officer for visa processing, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Track employee attendance, leave records, and overtime summaries.
  • Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance and timesheets.
  • Handle employee queries and provide HR-related information.
  • Ensure all HR documents are filed, organized, and easily retrievable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as an HR Assistant / HR Administrator in a construction company in the UAE.
  • Good understanding of UAE labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
