Full job description
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet hotel standards.
- Assign duties and inspect work of room attendants, public area attendants, and linen room staff.
- Check guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and proper set-up.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and ensure prompt and professional service recovery.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities; coordinate replenishment with the Housekeeping Office.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Conduct daily briefings and coordinate with Front Office for room status updates.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain service standards and productivity.
- Maintain housekeeping records such as room checklists, lost & found, and maintenance requests.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the department.
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in planning deep cleaning schedules and special projects.
