About Us:
Cherry Tree Nursery is a warm and welcoming Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting where children grow, learn, and play in a clean, safe, and caring environment. We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Staff member to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all nursery areas (classrooms, washrooms, kitchen, and common spaces) are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Sanitize toys, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces regularly.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with health & safety guidelines.
• Support in laundry duties (washing, drying, ironing, folding) as needed.
• Dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience (preferably in a school, nursery, or hospitality setting).
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety practices.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit to carry out cleaning duties.
