Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities.
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and development.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and service quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, special projects, and events.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staff performance, and departmental performance for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a supervisory housekeeping role in hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide housekeeping staff.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and hygiene standards.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
