Job Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, offices, washrooms, and public areas as per company standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Refill supplies such as toiletries, tissues, and cleaning materials
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the supervisor
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects when required
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
