Full job description

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, waiting areas, offices, restrooms, and corridors.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning, including disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
• Follow infection control protocols (hand hygiene, isolation precautions).
• Proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Transport trash and medical waste to designated disposal areas safely.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Ensure proper labeling and safe storage of chemicals.
• Assist patients when needed (e.g., directions, comfort).
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
• Report hazards promptly.
• Follow all regulatory requirements and infection control standards.
• Adhere to dress code and punctuality.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement programs.
