Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Reception & Seating:
- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive.
- Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Communicate estimated wait times to guests.
- Reservation & Guest Management:
- Take reservations over the phone, online, or in person.
- Maintain an organized seating chart and dining flow.
- Assist with accommodating special requests or seating preferences.
- Customer Service & Guest Experience:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a courteous manner.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and direct any special needs to the appropriate staff.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Inform servers of newly seated guests and special requests.
- Monitor dining area cleanliness and report any issues to management.
- General Front-of-House Duties:
- Keep the entrance, lobby, and host stand clean and organized.
- Assist with setting up tables for reservations if needed.
- Process takeout orders and answer customer inquiries about the menu.
