We are seeking skilled and responsible Heavy Vehicle Drivers to operate company buses, trailers, or other heavy-duty vehicles for transportation of goods or passengers. The ideal candidate will ensure safe driving practices, timely deliveries or transfers, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy vehicles such as buses, trailers, or trucks as per assigned routes and schedules.
- Transport passengers, goods, or materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Ensure compliance with traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults, damages, or maintenance requirements.
- Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Follow instructions from the transport supervisor or dispatch team regarding routes and schedules.
- Handle minor repairs or coordinate with the maintenance department for servicing.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (No. 4 or 6, depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience with heavy vehicles, buses, or trailers.
- Good knowledge of UAE road routes and traffic laws.
- Physically fit and able to handle long driving hours.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Basic communication skills in English or Arabic (reading and speaking).
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or construction industries.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting.
- Customer service-oriented attitude (for passenger transport drivers).
Work Conditions:
- Long-distance or inter-emirate travel may be required.
- Shift or rotational duty schedules.
- Uniform and safety gear provided by the company.
