Heavy Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating heavy passenger buses to transport passengers along designated routes or to assigned destinations. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards while providing courteous and reliable service to passengers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes or trips
• Transport passengers in accordance with schedules and route plans
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to supervisors immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Assist passengers when boarding and alighting, including elderly or disabled passengers
• Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Vehicle / Bus Driving License & Light Vehicle License
• Proven experience as a heavy bus driver
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts
• Physically fit and medically cleared to drive heavy vehicles
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Clean driving record with no major violations
