Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment: Evaluate fitness levels, health conditions, and goals through initial screenings and assessments.
- Program Development: Design individualized exercise programs (strength, cardio, flexibility) and adapt them as clients progress.
- Instruction & Motivation: Lead individual and group sessions, demonstrate proper form, provide encouragement, and ensure safe exercise.
- Equipment & Facility: Supervise equipment use, maintain cleanliness, and follow health, safety, and first-aid protocols.
- Member Engagement: Conduct gym inductions, answer questions, promote services, and foster positive relationships.
- Record Keeping: Update client files and use membership databases.
Requirements And Skills:
- Certification in fitness or personal training.
- Knowledge of anatomy, exercise science, and nutrition.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different ages and fitness levels.
- Basic first aid/CPR certification.
