We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the face of our hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.
- Warmly welcome and efficiently check-in guests, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously
- Process check-outs and handle billing accurately, ensuring a smooth departure experience
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests
- Promote hotel amenities and loyalty programs to enhance guest experience and drive revenue
- Handle reservations and room assignments efficiently
- Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as report generation and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar guest service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and empathetic when handling guest concerns or complaints
- Knowledge of UAE culture and customs is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
