Job Description: Guest Relations Manager / Host for Airbnb & Hostel

– The person should be well-versed in English communication. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

– Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout their stay.

– Be responsible for taking incoming phone calls, occasional outbound calls, and responding to emails or chats on a daily basis from guests who have questions or concerns about a reservation, statement or other concerns.

– Greet guests upon arrival, provide a personalized and warm welcome, and assist with the check-in process. Anticipate and respond to guest needs, inquiries, and requests promptly and accurately, maintaining high professionalism and attention to detail.

– Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property’s services, facilities, and amenities in order to provide accurate information and promote upselling opportunities.

– Handle guest complaints and concerns, addressing them effectively and in a timely manner, and seeking appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.

– Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for guests.

– Coordinate reservations, confirmations, and cancellations, ensuring timely communication with the guests.

– Conduct regular inspections of accommodations and common areas to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and meet the company’s high standards of quality.

– Assist with concierge services, providing recommendations and arranging bookings for dining, transportation, entertainment, and other activities as requested by guests.

– Monitor reservation inquiries, respond to guest inquiries promptly, and manage bookings efficiently. Coordinate with the reservations team to ensure seamless communication and timely confirmation of reservations made through online platforms.

– Coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules with cleaning/housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.

– Execute basic housekeeping/laundry operations in the absence of a cleaner/housekeeper.
