We are seeking a detail oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our team. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in our procurement department, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with vendors while optimizing costs and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records
- Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services as per approved requisitions
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, estimation, and site teams to understand material requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes to maintain optimal stock levels
- Stay informed about market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of UAE experience in purchasing, procurement or any related Infrastructure Industry in the UAE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
