Job Summary:
The General Helper provides basic support across various operational and maintenance tasks within the company. This role assists skilled workers, keeps work areas clean and organized, and helps ensure daily operations run smoothly. The General Helper must be reliable, physically fit, and willing to perform a variety of duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled workers, technicians, or supervisors with daily tasks
- Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
- Support basic maintenance and repair work
- Help with setup and dismantling of equipment or workstations
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Perform simple manual labor tasks as instructed
- Dispose of waste and keep the workplace organized
- Run errands or deliver materials within the worksite
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a helper or laborer is an advantage but not required
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good time management and reliability
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
