Position Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing professional and efficient guest services, including check-in, check-out, and handling guest inquiries. The role ensures adherence to hotel policies and standards while coordinating with relevant departments to support a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in process.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment processing.
- Provide information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Maintain accurate guest records, including updating profiles and billing details.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest requests.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hospitality degree or certification
- Previous experience in guest relations or a related field
- Knowledge of local attractions and events
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with hotel operations and service standards
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
