Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Guest Services: Welcome visitors with a warm smile, efficiently manage their check-in and check-out processes, and quickly respond to their requests and concerns.
- Reservations Management: Manage bookings, handle cancellations, and make changes to reservations accurately through the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
- Communication: Share details about the hotel’s facilities, services, and nearby places of interest. Communicate clearly with guests, the cleaning staff, and other departments.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest complaints and problems with a professional approach, always aiming to ensure guest happiness.
- Office Tasks: Carry out a variety of office-related tasks like organizing files, entering data, and keeping up-to-date records of guests.
- Billing and Collections: Take care of payments, manage cash, and make sure all bills are correctly charged for every transaction.
- Security: Uphold the hotel’s safety by keeping an eye on the front desk area and reporting any unusual behavior.
Qualifications
- Minimum experience of two years in a similar role in 5-star Luxury Hotel.
- Knowledge in MS Office and Opera system.
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and pride in personal presentation.
- A people person who is able to make genuine connections with their colleagues and guests.
- A genuine passion for customer service with a strong focus on always making our guest’s feel welcome during their stay.
