Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload products safely and efficiently. The role ensures accurate handling of goods while maintaining workplace safety and supporting warehouse/production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to load, unload, stack, and move materials within the warehouse, factory, or yard.
• Ensure proper handling of goods to avoid damage during loading and unloading.
• Conduct daily inspection and routine maintenance checks of forklift equipment.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items to designated areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements while operating equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by moving stock to and from storage areas.
• Ensure accurate placement of materials in racks, shelves, or staging areas.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or workplace hazards to the supervisor.
• Support warehouse staff in general duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift license/certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse practices, loading/unloading procedures, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read load charts, labels, and basic warehouse documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle heavy loads as required.
