The Role

As a Waiter/Waitress at The One Cafe, you are the narrator of our culinary story. You don’t just take orders; you guide our guests through a sensory journey—from the first aroma of our specialty coffee to the dramatic reveal of our Dessert. You are responsible for creating a warm, intentional atmosphere where every guest feels like the only person in the room.

Key Responsibilities

• The Guest Experience: Provide a “higher level” of service that is proactive, not just reactive (e.g., refilling water before being asked).
• Precision Service: Manage table settings, clear plates with grace, and ensure the dining room remains a clean, aesthetic sanctuary.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Food Runners and Commis Chefs to ensure the timing of the meal is perfect.
• Upselling with Soul: Suggest pairings that genuinely enhance the guest’s experience.

What We Are Looking For

• The Personality: A naturally warm, charismatic, and “polished” presence.
• Experience: 1–3 years in high-end cafes, luxury hotels, or fine-dining environments.
• Communication: Fluent English is essential; the ability to speak about ingredients and flavors with passion.
• The “Hustle”: The ability to stay calm and elegant even when the cafe is at 100% capacity.
• Attention to Detail: You notice a smudged glass or a crooked chair from across the room.
