The Role

As a Cashier at The One Cafe, you are the first point of contact for our guests. Your goal is to provide a warm welcome, process orders accurately, and ensure a smooth, efficient checkout experience while maintaining a clean and inviting counter area.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet every guest with a smile and assist them with menu questions or recommendations.
• Order Management: Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Transactions: Process payments (cash, credit cards, or mobile pay) and provide correct change and receipts.
• Upselling: Suggest pastries, snacks, or drink upgrades to enhance the customer experience.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and organized front-of-house area, including the pastry display and condiment station.
• Communication: Coordinate with baristas and kitchen helpers to ensure orders are served correctly and on time.
