Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless event operations
  • Manage budgets and track expenses for various events
  • Develop event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Oversee event setup, including audio-visual requirements and seating arrangements
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events
  • Maintain a detailed database of event contacts and vendors
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities related to events

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of event planning software is an advantage
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
