Requirements and skills

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license for Light Vehicle & Heavy Bus and proven work experience as a driver.
• Clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of local roads, routes and road safety regulations.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities·

• Drive safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and road regulations.
• Operate the vehicle in various traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Maintain control and awareness at all times to prevent accidents.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips (check tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.).
• Report and document any mechanical issues or defects.
• Ensure regular servicing and inspections are up to date.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain logbooks, delivery records, or trip sheets as required.
• Handle delivery receipts, invoices, and other transport documents.
• Interact professionally with clients, passengers, or delivery recipients.
• Adhere to company policies and transportation laws.
• Avoid driving under fatigue, influence, or while distracted.
• Basic troubleshooting for vehicle breakdowns.
