Job Description

We are seeking a professional and efficient Driver – Light Vehicle to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles to transport personnel, materials, or goods to various destinations within the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Transport personnel, materials, or goods to designated locations in a timely manner
• Plan optimal routes using maps, GPS, and knowledge of local road networks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials or goods when necessary
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
• Adapt to changing schedules and route assignments as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driving license for light vehicles in the UAE
• Proven experience as a light vehicle driver, preferably 5 years
• Excellent knowledge of UAE traffic rules and regulations
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Strong familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s road network and traffic patterns
• Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and reading maps
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and customer service
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
• Physical fitness to handle light lifting and loading
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (preferred)
• Defensive driving skills (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
